* Winery Review: Ripe and dense with blackcurrant and blackberry notes, this is a superb blend of two perfectly matched varieties. The plum and chocolate of the cabernet is balanced by the juicy, soft merlot. For this new vintage wine, the flavor is long and lingering with lovely structure and fine acidity. The wine is drinking well now but will continue to develop favorably under the right conditions for the next 2-3 years.
* My Review: This wine was strong and kind of tasted watered down. I didn't like it much. I didn't have it with food either. It tasted dry to me and didn't really have much of a berry taste. If I paired this with food it would be with lamb or goat meat. However, I definitely wouldn't recommend this.
