* Winery Review: The nose detects aromas of vanilla and white flowers. In the mouth it is fresh and light, with flavors of flowers and white fruit. Perfect as an aperitif. France – the home of Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne – is arguably the world's most important wine-producing country. For centuries, it has produced wine in greater quantity – and of reportedly greater quality – than any other nation. Wine is ingrained in French culture at almost every level of society; it is the drink of both the elite and the common people, and a key symbol in Roman Catholicism, France's majority religion.
* My Review: This was a delightful light sparkling wine with a very pretty bottle. It was dry yet tasty. It wasn't as strong as I would've expected. It was a perfect taste. I didn't have food with it.
